The applicant’s enrollment form will sent to the employer, filled out by the applicant and returned to the participating Registered Training organisation (RTO) with certified copies of photo identification and licences. The employer or nominated person and RTO will negotiate tasks strongly related the applicant’s current duties conducted in the workplace and formulate a plan for verification. The knowledge and skills requiring verification will soon be measured against the current industry standards by the RTO’s qualified and experienced trainers and assessors. The type of equipment to be properly used and the venue for the competency verification is likewise determined.
VOC process
The applicant will soon be informed of the verification process, the conditions under that the tasks will soon be conducted, the necessary outcome and the result of the verification process. Any gap training requirements and cost (if required) will soon be calculated by the RTO and approved by the employer ahead of commencement of gap training.
